All Good Things

First off, my older brother just got back from a brief stint in the Middle East as a member of the NY Air National Guard. While he was relatively safe given his job, it’s still great to know that he’s back home again and we look forward to welcoming him back.

And, I might as well post another one from the photowalk since I’ve been in the habit of doing that this week. I don’t think it’s a favorite from the walk, but I kinda like how it came out. The depth of field isn’t very interesting and the framing is a little off. But I think it works, in a certain way. I don’t know, it’s another shot from a fun day and I enjoyed working with it.

Comments:
  • I like it Jason – Its hard on the walk to come out with all winners – but sometimes when you revisit them, things pop out

  • Finally a dog for you! That’s exciting after you’ve wanted one for so long!

  • Photo works for me, also.

Something about old brick is hard to beat.

  • For my two penny’s worth, the warehouse on the left looks a great subject and I like the effect of old bricks too. But for me, here goes, the right hand side of the image detracts from the warehouse. I think it would be a much better shot with the right hand cropped and with more of the warehouse in. Just my humble opinion. What do I know anyway…

  • I agree – something about brick is just so aesthetically pleasing – probably something to do with the textures and lines that combine so well.
