Ithaca Photowalk Scheduled!
Jason D. Moore Photography will be hosting a photowalk coming up on Saturday April 18th in one of the cultural centers of Central New York, Ithaca!
If you are new to photowalking, it is basically a social gathering of photographers where we come together as creative people with a passion for image making. We walk around a given area for a couple of hours, cameras in-hand, with the sole purpose of shooting photos and making new friends.
We are looking at starting in the Ithaca Commons at 3pm and spend a couple of hours exploring the downtown area before ending at a local restaurant for dinner (on your own) to share shots and stories from the day and to get to know your fellow photo enthusiasts better.
We are still in the early planning stages and are open to suggestions for where exactly to start, where to eat, and any tips for cool spots to shoot around Ithaca. So please leave comments below with your ideas and email me to confirm that you will be attending.
More details to come, including a checklist of what to bring, a map of the area, and more, all of which can be found on the photowalk page in the coming weeks as we get closer to the walk.
Help spread the word! Invite your friends and/or camera club to join us for a fun-filled day of photography!
Hope to see you there!
