Though I don’t know much about the photographer – my French isn’t as good as it was in high school, if it could be considered “good” then – but from seeing the images produced by Marc of Roumi Photos – Montreal Photoblog I can learn quite a bit.
All of his photos are very gritty, worn and full of rich texture. Most of his images show abandoned places or speak of solitude and loneliness. I have always been fascinated by the types of spaces Marc focuses on in his photography and I am especially drawn to his style. I may be sounding like a broken record here, but when I grow up, I want to shoot like Marc.
Check him out!
