November Photo Contest Reminder
That’s right! We’re already over halfway through the month and the November Photo Contest only has a couple of weeks left!
Regulars will know that there is usually no theme for my monthly photo contests but this month I thought it would be fun to see what you could do with your camera phones (thanks to a suggestion from my friend, Illustrator Eric Maruscak). You can process the photos as much as you like, as always, but it should originate from a phone.
When you’ve got your shots, simply add them to our monthly photo contest Flickr group before the last day of the month for your chance to win.
Also, if you want to participate in something, but may not be interested in competing, join us for the Points of View Photo Project that I run every Friday. For the project, I supply a source image just as it was shot, right out of the camera, for you to download and develop however you want. At the end of the week I post a gallery of everyone’s version.
Also, I mention this often but have only had a few takers, if you would like some feedback about your portfolio, please send me a shot or two and I’d be glad to write up a review here on the blog. Nervous about it? Fear not! I’ll keep things entirely anonymous, if you wish. Send me your shots to firstname.lastname@example.org.
