Points of View Photo Project: #20
Welcome to week #20 of the Points of View Photo Project!
This will be the final edition of the project for 2009 and it will begin again with a new source image after the new year.
It has been such a treat for me over the course of this project to see all of the different interpretations there have been of my originals. Some have been dramatic, some whimsical, some similar, some surreal, all unique. Thank you to everyone who has participated so far, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with in the coming weeks.
Correction: Due to an error between the chair and the keyboard, the URL for contributor Hendrik Demey was grabbed incorrectly and is wrong in the gallery. His correct web address is http://hdemey.zenfolio.com/. My apologies.
I’d like to invite the rest of you to join us when we get started up again. It’s easy! Each week, I select a source image that has had nothing done to it and offer it up for you to download. All you have to do is process the image however you like, using whatever software and techniques you like, and send it back to me. I’ll put together a gallery of all the contributions and post it the following Friday here on the blog.
The source images don’t always have to be mine. I am always open to reader-submitted source images to offer even more variety and, perhaps, even give you some ideas for what direction you might want to take with it. You might even take something with that shiny new DSLR that’s sitting under the tree with your name on it. How do I know you’re getting one? Well, I’ve spoken to your husband/wife/mom/dad/great aunt Sue and they told me. It will be our little secret!
All you have to do is email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll put in in the rotation.
Now, without further ado, here is this week’s Points of View Photo Project Gallery!
