Special Thanks to You All!
For my final post of the year, I’d like to take a moment to express my deepest thanks to some really great people who have made 2009 such an awesome year here at Jason D. Moore Photography.
First off, I want to thank all of you, my readers. Without your regular visits, your subscriptions to my feed, and your loyal – even if unspoken – support helps make this whole thing possible. It is your thirst for learning and being part of a community such as this that reinforces my commitment to what I’ve been doing.
For those of you who have participated in one of my projects, series, contests, photowalks and comments. Especially:
- John Nack
- Larry Becker
- Mike McHugh
- David Ziser
- Shawn Duffy
- Joey L
- Marcus Taylor
- Andy Biggs
- Michael Palmer
- Jason Anderson
- Scotty Graham
- Roger Madsen
- Jeff Revell
- Marshall Garlington
- Hendrik Demey
- Andy Smith
- and so many more!
Thank you for taking that extra step and for getting involved. Your contributions to the discussion and to the creativity of this place are the life-blood of this community. I hope you will continue to share in this endeavor with me and I encourage everyone else to take a more active role in the coming year.
For those who have sent me photos or products to review. Not only have you supplied me with content for the blog but you have also shared with me tools for my trade and inspiration to keep me going.
For those who have sponsored the blog throughout the year in one form or another (in no particular order):
- Marc Benton
- Rob Jones
- Robert Denton
- Colin Smith at Photoshop Cafe
- Aaron Johnson of What the Duck
- Troy Breidenbach of IGT America
- Igor Tryndin of Unified Color
- Brian Kraft of onOne Software
- John Rank at Mpix
- Kevin Mullins
- Elliot Harvey – eCost Software
- And, of course, Scott, Dave, Matt, RC and everyone at Kelby Media Group
Thank you for seeing something in me and for helping me in such a tangible way to move forward and accomplish my goals.
And now for some special thanks.
First to Chris Stern. Chris, it was a pleasure meeting you in person and getting to know you this year and an honor working with you on the Walk4Hearing Silent Auction. I admire your passion, your spirit, and your dedication to such a worthy cause. I know we did a lot to pull it off, but it wouldn’t have happened at all without your vision. Thank you for letting me be a part of that!
To Scott Kelby. What can I say, Scott? Not only has your work and the heart behind it been an inspiration to me and has helped me grow, you have also helped me discover a new direction for my own work. You are an amazing human being and your generosity of spirit is infectious! Your giving nature, always striving to help others become better than they’ve ever been, has been a guiding light for me. And I will be forever grateful to you and your awesome team for what you’ve shown me. Thank You!
To Rob Jones. You’ve been a great supporter of this blog and my work for a long time, now. Our conversations over the past year, especially since meeting in person in August, have really helped reinforce my motivations for what I am doing and have challenged me to think in new ways as I move forward. I am excited for the joint ventures we have in the works for the coming year, but even more than that I am excited to be working with someone who shares my passion for giving what we have so others might also succeed. Thank you for your support. Thank you for your partnership. I am proud to call you my friend!
And finally, to Kim. You have been my biggest support of all and I couldn’t have done any of this without you. You have always encouraged me, always stood beside me, always been there to remind me that anything is possible. You’ve taught me so much about who I am and have given me the strength to walk on as I continue down this path of self-discovery. Thank you for having the heart of an artist and understanding that by pursuing my creativity I am able to be a more complete person – even if sometimes my late-night typing wakes you up from time to time (sorry about that…). Thank you for everything you do, for the sacrifices you’ve made, for just being you as you help me be me. You are my best friend and I am so humbled that I get to call you my wife! I Love You So Much!
