From the Archives
To close out the week, I thought I would take a look back at some posts from the past and see what I’ve done, and where I’ve gone since the early days of this blog.
As I was going through, I came across a shot that I had all but forgotten about, taken on a trip down to NJ that I took with my dad (when we worked together) to deliver a project to a client of ours. Much of my attention and memory of the photos from that day centers around my bench photo taken at Liberty State Park in NJ which was selected as a NAPP Editor’s Choice in October 2006 (one year to the day before my wedding, actually). So I forgot that I had taken the shot below just a few feet from the bench photo. No, it’s not the greatest shot and I would probably do a number of things differently in the processing, but I like it.
Take a look back in your archives and share a link in the comments to show us some of the gems from your past that you may have forgotten!
And, if you thought you’d missed the chance to participate in this week’s Points of View Photo Project, don’t fret! I’m carrying it over to next week, so head on over and download the source image, process it and send it in for inclusion in the project!
