1.Thy love, in my heart increase,
Make me an instrument of peace;
Help me to serve!
So I may loving be,
Where there is injury,
Bring to abide in Thee
Those who are lost.

2.Make my heart humble and pure,
Where I’ve doubt, reassure.
Help me to bring,
Where there is darkness: light;
Sadness: joy and delight;
Where there is wrong: what’s right.
Lord, hear my prayer!

3.When there is suff’ring and strife,
Waken my faith to life.
Help me to sow:
Not hatred, pain or greed;
But hope, my only seed,
Your grace is all I need
To serve with love!
