A Joyful Promise

Isaiah 35:10
Third Sunday of Advent

The anticipation grows,
	He’s almost here!
Let our hearts rejoice with singing and with gladness
	At the coming of our God!

Though sorrow may dwell in our hearts
	 It shall last for but a moment.
For with the dawning of this new day,
	The promise shall be realized.

He is coming!
	Coming to live among us, within us!
His presence shall fill us to overflowing
	With a joy that will last forever!

Open your hearts to receive Him;
	He who is the source of all our Joy.
Sing and be glad!
	For the Lord is here!
