For a time we've walked along
Together down this road
And shared experiences both good and bad-
Sharing each other's load.

We've laughed together and cried together
And most things in between.
Through hard times that were oh, so rough
It was you on whom I'd lean.

It's amazing how in so short a time
We have become great friends.
While time continues on and on
May this friendship have no end.

As our roads diverge and part
And we carry on in foul weather,
May there be sun and bluer skies
When our paths come back together!
