As I journey on into my slumber
I say goodnight to you all.
I say goodnight for it is now the time
For resting the mind and recuperating the soul.
Tomorrow shall come in its time
Bringing a brand new day;
Giving hope of a new beginning,
Bringing a new light to my life.
I am drifting off to sleep now
And soon I will be dreaming.
My mind will preoccupy me with its fairytales
And I will forget the trials of yesterday.
I will dream dreams of excitement,
I will dream dreams of hope.
I shall dream these dreams with the comfort
That I will rise again and awaken from this surreal state
To live my life with a new energy,
To live my like fully,
And to live in love forever!
