"Our Life and Love"

As the days march steadily onward
Leading towards some unknown destination,
We await all that life has to afford;
Our hearts are filled with exciting anticipation!
We gaze over the distant horizon
At all the hope that is in store.
We can't wait to see, we're eager to move on
Wa can't wait to find out, we want to find more!

When looking towards the bright future
We mustn't forget the steps we took to get here.
All of the joy we shared, the love that was so pure
That carried us through the pain and the darkest fear.
We stuck together through the ups and downs
Through it all you were by my side.
It's amazing all of the wonderful things we found,
With our love for each other, what could we hide?

During the times of great uncertainty
When we feel lost and so alone
We feel like it will be an eternity
Before we will again be together - at home!
These times bring much heartache
Our love is under so much strain,
And we know that it's not a piece of cake
To make it through till we meet again.

But the future is full of great promise and hope
Full of wondrous joy and fear-less.
We will feel this joy and it won't be hard to cope
For we will realize just how much we're blessed!
Though we're not sure what this is all for,
Our hearts are as free as a dove.
Up in with the wind we will soar
For we shall be sustained by our Love!
