Sometimes in life we see our spirit begin to fade.
Our days feel longer, the nights seem shorter,
And everyone is oblivious to our neverending inner conflicts.
Each new day brings on new and harder challenges
Forcing us to ask ourselves, "Am I good enough?"
Sometimes we don't have to go it alone;
We have help and loving support.
The rest of the time we are left in solitude
Surrounded by darkness, uncertainty, and without hope.
But it doesn't have to be that way.

In your solitude, shrouded in darkness,
I will be your flame,
I will be your guide,
And I will help you through.
I will be there to light your path
And help you regain sight of your essence
So your flame will burn forever!
